Today’s topic is satellite dishes. Guess what? Blind rivets are used here, too!
Since these instruments remain constantly outdoors, they are subjected to the most varied meteorological disturbances: humidity, rain, hail, ice, and last but not least the stresses due to wind gusts.
In the production of satellite dishes, therefore, it is fundamental to use materials that resist to all of this.
SARIV produces customized blind rivets, designed specifically for this type of application:
- Stainless Steel mandrel, for rust and corrosion resistance
- Aluminum rivet body, with high Magnesium content, for higher mechanical strength and resistance to wind gusts
- Large head, for a wider support surface
